Olive Eggers are created by crossing a true blue layer with a dark egg layer. Olive Eggers can be multi-generational, meaning there are F1, F2, BC1, BC2, etc. F1 OEs are first generation, meaning they are the first cross of a blue layer and a brown layer. Our breeding Olive Eggers are currently all F1, meaning we can create BC1 or F2 Olive Eggers (and of course more F1s using our other breeds). We may add other generations at some point. Unless otherwise specified, our OE birds will never be F2, meaning Olive Egger x Olive Egger, as the genetics get too unpredictable in my opinion.  For more information on Olive Egger genetics, click here.
